Privacy notice

This notice explains what personal information Gibbs Technology Solutions (“GTS”, “we”) collects through this website, why, and what your rights are. GTS is a partnership based in Milton Keynes, and we are the controller of the information described here.

What we collect

This website doesn’t have forms, accounts or tracking. The only personal information we receive is what you choose to send us by email, phone, voicemail or text message, which is usually:

• your name and contact details (email address or phone number)
• your business name, if you include it
• anything you tell us about the problem you’d like help with

How we use it

We use this information to reply to you, to talk through what you need, and, if you decide to work with us, to provide our services. We don’t use it for marketing unless you’ve asked us to, and we never sell it.

Our legal basis is our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries, and, where you become a client, the steps needed to enter into and carry out a contract with you.

Who we share it with

We don’t share your information with anyone else, except the service providers we rely on to run the business, such as our email provider (Google, through Gmail). Google acts under its own terms and may process information outside the UK.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry emails for 12 months and then delete them, unless you become a client, in which case we keep records for as long as we need to provide our services and meet our legal and accounting obligations.

This website

• We don’t use cookies, analytics or advertising tools.
• Like any website, our server and Cloudflare (which delivers the site and protects it from attacks) handle your IP address and basic technical details of your visit. Cloudflare may do this outside the UK. Our server logs are kept for 30 days.

Your rights

You can ask us to:

• give you a copy of the information we hold about you
• correct anything that’s wrong
• delete your information
• stop or limit how we use it

Complaints

If you’re unhappy with how we’ve handled your information, please tell us first so we can put it right. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint.

We’ll update this page if anything changes, and the date at the top will show when it was last revised.
